Battery for a 64 landlord

Do you guys still use the 51r battery in the old landlords too? Or is it a different one?

i still use a 51r in my tractor. you need a good battery. if you dont have the right cca, you can burn out your starter

BCI GROUP NUMBERS AND DIMENSIONS PASSENGER CAR AND LIGHT COMMERCIAL_BATTERIES 12-VOLT "22NF 240 140 227, 9 7/16, 5 1/2, 8 15/16" "51R 238 129 223, 9 3/8, 5 1/16, 8 13/16" Slight difference in size. A 51R doesn't have the molded in ridge on the ends of the case for the battery hold down in our tractors.

I just went to the auto parts store and got one the same size, works fine. In fact I bought 4 new ones for other tractors and they all work fine. ???
