HB212 Mower belt

I have an HB212 that has been converted over to a single pulley system for the belt that runs from the PTO to the mower deck. I want to use an older mower deck (42") from my B110 tractor. Does anyone know what size belt will be needed to work. I know the HB 212 has a longer body than the B110 and the pulley on the mower decks are different on the 48" vs. the 42". Thanks

The difference in length between the HB 212 and B 110 are in the plates between the BGB and the transmission. The belt you need should be 108248 according to the belt and blade reference manual. Which is 48.1" long.

Ray, Is the belt 108248 for the HB212 with a 48" deck. If it is aren't the pulleys a different diamater on the 48' vs. the 42" mower decks. I tried to bring the belt specs page up but it won't let me in.

The belt 108248 is for the 42" deck. 108458 is the belt for the 48" deck and is 45.1" long. The pulleys are different sizes for the 42" and 48" decks.

They also list a belt number 174911 for a 42" deck which is 44.1" in length.

Looks like they have two different belt lengths for a simplicity Mfg. No. and a Allis Mfg. No. It may be either a different size pulley on the pTO or deck. Check the Mfg. No. on your deck. I believe it probably is a different size on the PTO pulley because they have 3 or 4 different size belts for those as well starting with the B 1 through the B212.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
