osenga 1 Posted March 16, 2010 Ok i have Bought all the stuff i need so I can build the rear lift cables. I know they make 2 different kinds for the large frame tractors . I am going to build the one that dont have the adjustment on the end that hooks to the sleeve hitch. What I am doing is the end that get the eyelet I am going to use a thimble loop cable around the nd crimp it and then on the other end I have already got the metal bent . Just have to drill the 3 holes in it yet. Then i will run the cable through it and at the length it needs to be put a crimp there and the crimp will be used as the stop to that bracket . So has any of you done one like this . I have bought enough stuff where I should be able to make a boat load of these just wondered if it will hold up like the OEM ones??????? HubbardRA 19 Posted March 17, 2010 I made my own rear lift cable for my 716H. It works fine and I have not had a problem since I put it on about 4 years ago.
