Replacement ENG for LANDLORD

I have a 1964 Landlord with a briggs eng TYP #23D 9HP. What is a good replacemen ENG

You can replace that engine with either a 9-10-12hp briggs of the cast iron block without doing almost anything but taking yours out and bolting in one of the others. On the 12hp engine you might run into clearence problems with the 12hp as it has the sycro-balanced shaft engine and because of this it takes up some more room. The 10 will fit without any problem period. There are alot of good used ones out there to be had fairly reasonalble. Good Luck, >>->happyjack<-<<
