Was mowing with my 1960 MW squire when the engine cut out and I pulled it on the driveway to fill it back up with gas and noticed it still had gas. Hhhmmm. The bolt on the head that holds the plate to the voltage regulator and the generator had oil around it. :( do ya think the headgasket let go? If so where can I get one at?

I pulled the bolt off and it had a bunch of oil all over it and I noticed it was loose. So I cleaned it all up and put it back in and it started it and it has a weird sound like its losing compression at that spot

Try a retorque of all the head bolts first. It may be that vibration loosened things up on you.
