Hi all. I have the old # for the belt I need (#1607812 for Allis 314 pto-to-deck) is there a chart somewhere to update this belt to one of the current manufacturers?

Ray, thank you. I found a site that had A-C belt dimensions and the part number I had corresponded to a 1/2" X 82" belt. I bought that size belt at NAPA. Now I wonder if the extra length is going to work?? I can try it for fit and return it if it's too loose. Now, at least I have other sources for that belt. Dick

I have never had any luck using anything but a Simplicity or A-C belt except on starter generator applications. You answered your own question when you posted a size of 81.10" Automotive belts are usually 1/2" increments where the original and replacement belts for these machines are in1/10" increments. Yeah, a little longer or shorter won't matter except when you are trying to use them. They also don't last very long when run on a twist. Do like I do--bite the bullet, gulp real hard and pony up the price of the right belt--it'll save money, time and trouble in the long run
