Homesteader 0 Posted June 1, 2010 hi guys, yesterday i picked up a really cool lawn mower while we were picking up a farmall super C. we went into the guys barn to drag out a sickle mower for the C and i saw it on the far side od the barn. i walked over to see what it was and knew right away that i wanted it. the only problem was, all tires were flat, barn floor was caving in because it was built into a hill, and the front half of the mower was hanging into a hole in the floor. sooo... for 20 buck i picked it up and the guy helped me carry it out of the barn. got it home, got it running for the first time in 5 or so years, and mowed th lawn with it. it is amazing. ill post picks later because im at school right now. steve-wis 610 Posted June 2, 2010 Nice find, good deal. I had an older one with the swinging handlebar steering and a newer engine that I just sold for $125, although I had rebuilt and repainted the deck. They are fun to drive, and the friction wheel tranny is so simple they should last forever. Also, parts are still available. Have fun!! By the way, in case you don't know, the bar on the back is so you can drain the fluids and stand the thing on its end for storage. Steve
