Hi, any advice on if or when the coupling disks in the drive shaft should be replaced? I'm replacing the cast iron coupler on the front of the bevel gear box (worn keyway) and though the disks look fine, they are 36 years old. Thanks, Larry

Thanks, with the mower deck and electric lift in place it's work just to get at them. They look weak by design but the fact is they are 35 years old and doing fine. Larry

The Fiberglass couplers are a very good design, and unless they are improperly installed, they will last nearly forever.
