Lots of PB Blaster and if that doesn't work, you may have to apply some heat. If that doesn't work, I know a guy that tied the front of his tractor to a large tree and pulled the thing apart with his truck.

try applying some heat to melt the grease a little ( liquefy ) it then you might be able to pump some grease in. tip make sure the grease fitting is removed so u dont damage the grease fitting you can use propane torch

Your friend and mine, Mr. Oxy-Acetylene works wonders! If you've never driven an early Broadmoor with the pivot working correctly, you're in for the ride of your life when you get it fixed!d:)

You may have to slit through the outer tube with a whizzer wheel or make multiple drill holes to get the lube to penetrate inside. You can epoxy over them later to seal up. "Free All" seems to be the best penetrent we have used for dissolving rust so far. Do not let it get onto plastic or in your eye! http://www.gsasupplyco.com/freallpenoil.html

I tried this and it worked! What I have done in the past is heat the heck out of the pin area, lots of PB blaster and have a helper try to twist the tractor at the pivot. They can really be stubborn suckers, keep trying.

I stood the tractor on rear wheels. And secured rear wheels so they could not move. Heated up pivot point,And put long bar across front end and twisted it from side to side. It moves very little at first. I agree the ride when pivot is working is like nothing else. Which has me wondering how well is mine working ?
