Hi all my name is Brad I just bought my summer project on saturday it's all there and fairly descent a good start for a full off resto. I just got my other project done and sold a 1995 mustang gt the I rebuilt and put a supercharger on it,my wife calls me a tinker because I love to do this stuff. Well now it's a tractor and these forums are a great help. I'll post some pictures every week of my progress, and I am sure I'll have plenty of questions. Brad Welcome to the club. Please resize pictures to 640 x 480 pixel size before posting. The larger size makes the forum hard to read requireing scrolling side ways. Thank You.

There is a custom decal maker on ebay, dont think he has stuff for a landlord that old though. Somebody here will probably know a place. I would find some before destroying the originals. Worse comes to worse you could tape them off and keep them. I did that 2 years ago with my sovereign. Way better than nothing. The post on it is still up on Show and Tell "My 3416H" Welcome and good luck

The Ebay guy has a actual set for the 64 now. A few of them were developed off of my tractor:D. Mine looked a lot like yours when I started. A sweet little project to start on and very rewarding.8D

I sandblasted some parts at work tonight,I can do all the parts there except frame cabinet isn't big enough for that.

Now is a good time to "perk up" your fenders. Most of the time they get pushed closer to horizontal by people leaning on them. The flat face should be flat all the way from the top to the bottom edge, which produces almost no clearance to the edge of the seat. Lot easier to fix now than later ;)

Found 2 little pin holes in my tank that I soldered and put eastwood tanksealer inside.

Is this going to be to orange,I kinda like it but it's really orange? I can't believe how nice it laid down for a rattle can,I used a new etching primer and really works nice. I am going to spraypaint the small stuff and have my buddy paint the hood, grill, deck and fenders. It's looks like JLG orange :-),if you know what JLG orange is. The paint looks a little too orange imo. If your looking to spray paint the smaller pieces the closest match I've found is Duplicolor 1607 Chevy engine orange-red

Yeah it looks really orange against the primer but it's not to bad,I'll get a can of that duplicolor and try it. I have to work saturday so I am taking my hood, grill and seat pan in to sandblast. Hey if they make me work saturday I might as well use their sandblast cabinet :-) . I am taking the seat in to get recovered at the local upholstery shop. I only need two things a "S" for the stearingwheel and the metal "S" for the grill.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
