larry8200 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2010 Finally have to change the starter/generator belt on my 3416. Pretty sure the original is still on it(wow). The driveshaft obviously has to be split, it looks like the 2 long bolts have spacers between the disk and crank. Can you take out 1 at a time, put thr belt halfway through, put the first bolt and spacer back, then do the second? I dont want to let the shaft flex anymore than necassary against the rear coupler.
