osenga 1 Posted June 19, 2010 I went and looked at a 716 today it mows nice . overall not the best tractor i have ever bought but comes with a 42 inch deck and blower 46 inch blade and the tiller setup. So now my question since i mostly use the k301 and k321 . when I tested this mower in his back yard it has a really nice cut but to me it seems like it had some viberation to it ? and I have had people tell me the 16 and 18 singal kohlers do have some viberation to them could someone tell me if they should or not. since my 916 when i use it it only goes in the garden anymore and it is rough so I am always bouncing around. and I can get this for 750.00 tomarrow or he is parting it out
OrangeMetalGuy 20 Posted June 19, 2010 Might just be the deck has a loose spindle or drive pulley... likely not the tractor itself. Was it vibrating with the PTO disengaged?
osenga 1 Posted June 19, 2010 ya some but nothing bad though i would think
427435 0 Posted June 19, 2010 Could also be as simple as a poor job sharpening the blades causing one or more to be off balance. It is a big single, however. Expect some vibration.

GregB 879 Posted June 20, 2010 I have a 716-6sp. Best tractor I every bought. I have a 718H that I am changeing back into a 716H for mowing. I personally like the 917 for tilling but really like the shorter and lower 716 for my hillside mowing. With a deck, blade and tiller, if i needed another, I'd buy it. Brettw 1,015 Posted June 20, 2010 The deck tiller and blade are worth darn near the price.
