powermax deck dimensions

Recommended Posts

I've been offered a deck by a member who is only about 10 hrs drive away. Fortunately it is on my way for a family trip. But I don't know exactly how big the mid-mount mower deck for a Powermax is. I want to figure out if I can shoe horn it into my minivan by taking out the back seat. So obviously the deflector (if it still has one) comes off. Anyone have a deck and a measuring tape handy? 60+ how much wide? how much front to back? Thanks for any help. I'd rather not tow the trailer if I can get away with it.

Thanks John and Levi. 300# is what I was expecting, but hadn't realized the 70+ inches part. The current owner says he can load one himself and the two of us will have no problems. I'm hoping he's a competitive weight lifter! Don

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
