Guest Posted July 5, 2010 My neighbor is interested in a Simplicity 5211 that he has a line on. I looked on the Simple Tractors website but the info there only goes up to 1983. I believe the tractor dates between 1984-1989. Can someone tell me the Mfg. No. for the 5211 with a manual gear transmission? (I believe it is a 169xxxx) With that number I can download an owner's manual from Simplicity, which should give my neighbor everything he is looking for. Thanks! JohnMBerst 36 Posted July 6, 2010 I have had a 5212.5 for 24 years. Only issue was had to have the 5 speed transmission worked on / replaced due to drive gear wear. But it has about 1800+ hours on it. Don't know much about the motor, but frame and steering are solid. And room for a full sized car battery in back. Cut grass and blow snow, so it has done a lot. Best of luck.
