Got a general question over the power steering setups common to most of the common Garden tractor brands. What is the most common problems that might develop with them? What are some of the symptoms when the are not working properly? Is there any maininance to do that is associated with them?

Sam, I'd say not confined to garden tractors, leaking steering cyl. packings and occationally a shaft seal on a rotory steering valve. Since the systems are mostly piggybacked off another circut there is little to no maintnace required as long as hoses aren't rubbibg on something.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
