RonHatch 0 Posted July 24, 2010 Hi I'm a new member and a new owner of a B-10 that I bought last month. I plan on restoring it this fall so I can proudly add it to my collection which consist of a 1964 110 JD, a 1966 102 CC, a 1967 857 WH and a 1989 4016 Ingersol. Even though they are all restored (and modified), I still use them almost everyday. I guess you could call me a farmer want-a-be. Anyway, on to my question. Yesterday I bought a tractor powered grass vacuum blower for my B-10. Does anyone have information and possibly pictures of how the blower and clutch is mounted and driven. There were 2 different units to choose from; one was driven from the rightside of the RGB and the outer had a jackshaft and was driven from the leftside of the RGB. I chose the latter. It looks like I could remove the jackshaft and drive this unit from the rightside of the RGB just to simplify things. Thanks in advance for your help, Ron

RonHatch 0 Posted July 24, 2010 Thanks Mack. That really helps! Pictures are truly worth a 1,000 words. One final Question. The pulley was missing that goes on the RGB. I assume the blower is driven at a 1:1 ratio to the engine. Is that right? Thanks, Ron
wilm169 1 Posted July 24, 2010 Ron it either a 3 1/2" or a 4" pully for the drive. AND WELCOME TO THE CLUB.
