RayS 79 Posted July 25, 2010 You can use a BGB from a 3400 - 7100 series that has a 6 speed, shuttle or a hydro transmission. The cross shaft are the same part number. The BGB on a 3300 series and older will not work. BGB from any variable speed tractors will not work either. If you download the parts manuals for all the 3400 tractors to the last year of production of these large frame tractors and check the numbers on Jacks website you will notice that all the cross shafts in the tractors with a 3 speed, shuttle or a hydro supercede to the same part number. AC_B-1Novice 1 Posted July 25, 2010 Thanks RayS I think that eliminates the tractors that I have. Just a thought though, would any of the gears work in case it just needed some replaced? larry
RayS 79 Posted July 25, 2010 The 990314 uses 3/4" inside diameter gears and your 7012 has 7/8" inside diameter gears. So no they won`t work in the 7012.
