I Got me a Brinly Plow!!! And I'm restoring it!

So I decided to tear it down, strip everything down to bare metal and paint. I'm almost done soaking the parts and derusting them. I pick up all the fasteners on Monday at my local Fastenal branch. I also ordered new decals from clickitandstickit.com.

I set up an electrolytic rust removal tub per the videos on YouTube.

I'm almost done soaking parts, I just have the molboard and plow frame to soak. I'm also surprised how well the paint gets stripped off of the parts after soaking for a day.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
