Simplicty attachments

I am new to the club and don't know a whole lot about simplicity tractors. I bought the tractor with a tiller attachment, which works great! I am interested in some other attachments. Mainly a snow thrower. I was wondering if all the simplicity snow throwers attach the same? Or did they make different throwers for different models? Thanks for the help!

Well, for starters, welcome to the club! Next, what model tractor do you have? That will help us to tell you what might be available. If it is a large frame, and depending upon the year, you might be able to get: a grader blade, a snow blade, a snow thrower 36" or 42", 42" & 48" mower decks, sickle bar, lawn revitalizer(power thatcher), front mount weed cutter (widow maker), generator, after market branch chipper, plow, cultivator, trailing mowers, and a few more after market or others I am sure I forgot.

The tractor is a 16 GTH. I don't know if that is the model number you need. I know in the manual it has a 169 number. But I don't have the manual with me at the moment. I know the deck is 48" and the tiller is an offset 30" Thanks for your help.

Welcome! Thats a large frame. The "GTH" was around 88-92 I think, stands for "Garden Tractor, Hydro". Large frame attachments from the late 70's through 2000 will fit it, as well as some of the older stuff too.

Here are some manual for if you have a 16 GTH. It would be considered more of a small frame. The blowers are the same except for the hitches. The tillers and other attachments (except for snowblowers) from the large frame tractors won`t fit it. The snow blades will work as well if you can find a bracket assembly to mount between the hitch and frame. Your deck would be a right hand discharge as well. http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8apJ2rE3CBh5kbp796Dq http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCyEN8ctG2rE3CGh5kbp796Dq http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8.wI6rE8Cvh5kbp796Dq

Ray, Interesting that in your first link above, the SimpletrACtors reference "Large-Frame Garden Tractors" lists the GTH with the Sunstar which is definitely a large frame. It must be a mistake, because I'm almost certain the couple of GTH's I've seen are smaller tractors like the 6000 series.

I was never aware there was a Sunstar that was called a GTH until you mentioned it. The guy mentioned that he has a offset 30" tiller for is 16GTH and I now that the large frame tractors 3300, 3400 7000 serries as well as the others used the 36" and 38" inch tiller. I new the 30" tiller had to be for a small frame and definitely isn`t for a Sunstar called a GTH.
