Yep but you will need a different colar on the left side. The old rbt have the same size hole, the newer ones have 2 different sizes...

Thanks Mike - but I'm not sure what a collar is and is it hard to find or expensive? Also mine is an rbt and how do I know what size I would need?

The collar mentioned in the above post is shown circled in red in the following pic:

I believe the part is still available from Simplicity.

Thanks Bill it shouldn't be very expensive. I'm not sure why it needs to be a different size but I guess I'll find out if I go to put it on. larry

The later tractors used two different size holes in the verticle plates so you could remove the one point hitch without unbolting the verticle plates for the hitch from the trans. Design improvement.

The one is a standard "shaft collar", the larger actually has a step or shoulder that fits into the larger hole. See below for parts list of 1690045 Rear lift kit

Still available $30.00 ~ MAybe someone has a used one you can get cheaper. OR if you had a friend who had access to some stock and a lathe should not be to hard to make.

If you have access to a lathe, or possibly just a welder and grinder, you could do what I did. I made a stepped washer to keep the shaft centered in the hole, and then used a standard collar like is used on the other side.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
