Cadloader for the AC 716H?

I'm thinking about building a CadLoader, and the 907 looks like a nice unit. Is a 716H big enough to handle it with rear weight added? There's also the 507 model, but I'm not sure how much I'd trust a one-sided loader arm like that.[A href='http://www.wheatfarm.com']http://www.wheatfarm.com[/a]

Outstanding! Thanks for the links! A loader like that is something I could easily build. There's a local machine shop with very extensive metal forming equipment so I could have the bucket and assorted sheetmetal pre-bent. Wow. This is exciting. I'll definitely post info as I progress on the project.[A href='http://www.wheatfarm.com']http://www.wheatfarm.com[/a]

Hi J Lasater, I like your website. For some reason, Loaders were available for AC models from old "B" series and "300/400 series" and "920" and probably others, but I've never seen them listed as options on simplicity. Your AC 716 is certainly stronger and more suitable than "B"'s, and as strong as the "300/400"'s. See the links below. http://www.simpletractors.com/images/1966_ac/l-10_lg.jpg http://www.simpletractors.com/images/big_ten/loader.jpg http://www.simpletractors.com/attachments/l-12_loader.htm http://www.simpletractors.com/Main/contents.htm I agree, I don't like the idea of a one-sided loader. I'm sure it works within it's design limits though. I have seen pictures of one-sided loaders on other tractors before. The one side support/mountings are heavier than either side of the double-side design, and probably considered to be lighter duty. Here's a link for a cheap used loader ad: http://www.antiquetractors.com/cgi-bin/photoads/classifieds.cgi?search_and_display_db_button=on&db_id=5838&query=retrieval If you build the cadplans model, please post photos and your "Story" afterwards. Good Luck, bobjack [A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/attachments/l-12_loader.htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/attachments/l-12_loader.htm[/a]

Hi J Lasater, Here's one more very neat link of a 1963 simplicity model 725 with custom 3 point hitch and a "COOL" custom made loader. The owner made these about 20 years ago. bobjack[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/gallery/725_w_loader.htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/gallery/725_w_loader.htm[/a]

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
