lampoulos 0 Posted August 27, 2010 When you guys run ag tires in place of your turf are you running the same size between the two? I'm thinking about running ag's on my 6212.5 and am having a hard time figuring out what size I should use.
BLT 708 Posted August 27, 2010 Whatever you get, make sure they fit under fender wells.
timflury 1 Posted August 27, 2010 IMHO, I would run the same dimensional size tires. Especially when you are running things where depth is critical, ie. mower, tiller, snowblower, mainly the powered implements.
acfarmer 1 Posted August 28, 2010 I'm sold on ATV tires, they're available in 6 ply, wide varity of sizes and have all sorts tread patterns most which will outpull standard tractor tread garden tractor tires.I just put a set of 6 ply 26-12-12 Outlaw radials on my Ford LGT 14D diesel that are doing great.BTW the ATV tires need a narrower rim for the tire size most of the time.Putting a 12" wide ATV tire works well on a rim that a 10.5 regular lawn tread tire came off.
