7116 - 7117/7119 compatibility

Recommended Posts

Yes, The motor will work in either of those tractors, but make sure the you take the driveshaft out of the 7116. Because the driveshaft is longer for the single cylinders, and bolts in one hole closer to the front of the tractor. The twin cylinders use a shorter driveshaft. You will need to change the key switch as well and if you don`t you will destroy the magneto on the Briggs. Been there done that. Do a archived forum search. http://simpletractors.com/club2/search.asp?sectionid=4
