This is a wooden tractor:


This was at the Carroll Farm Museum show today in Westminster MD. Guy made the entire tractor out of wood!

Try this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-faIkTmcIpM . I am not a 100% Deere fan, but I saw this tractor in person at one of our farm shows. It is now or has been disassembled for painting a year's project according to the owner.

:D:D Have seen lots of scale model tractors that run like that D JD. NAMES (north american model engineers society ) show in Detroit and now in Toledo every April usually has several running tractors as well as cars, trucks,aircraft and marine engines. Incredible what the modelers can make. Several years ago when show was still in Detroit suburb two guys brought identical models of the IHC Titan tractor. They both ran and moved under their own power.dOddOd

Ken, it runs by an 1/8 scale magneto. Here is some more. http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Kieffer1.htm The first time I saw it, the ownner couldn't get it started. Turns out the spring on the points arm was broken.
