B-210 Variable adjustment

I have somewhat deciphered how to tune the variable unit on the 210 but the manual is very low-resolution and hard to read. I was looking at the 990494(sovereign) version. What is the Allis version or do they cross-reference in the system anyhow? Also, does anyone know where I can get an appropriate belt guard? I made a finger-type guard so that it could stop and clutch but the official would be nice.

I saw a belt guard on ebay... its been there a while... might not be your exact model but if not it would be an easy fix.
