Adjusting The Deck Height?

Recommended Posts

Bull_79
On my '64 LL I put the deck on for the first time today and the front is higher then the rear do I adjust those screw on the front to bring it down? And the back what does the handles do,sorry to sound dumb but I didn't want to go moving everything not knowing what was going to happen. And another thing the pulley where the belt goes on the tractor has two grooves I take it the smaller one makes it go faster? I tell you what when you engage that setup you better be ready to cut some grass because it takes off :D.Thanks

The operators manual describes how to adjust. The smaller pulley is for a sickle mower. http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8arG1rE3Cvh5kbp796Dq http://bsintek.basco.com/BriggsDocumentDisplay/default.aspx?filename=heCBEN8cuH4rE3CG.5kbp796Dq

I too thought that was weird but thats the way they want it and I give them credit sure does a nice job. They are just opposite every body else don't know if the newer ones are the same.
