come up with an easy access to the oil check plug on the B series BGB I found using a 1/2 inch drive extension backwards worked real slick on the B-112 variable. I find it hard to get a box end to work around everything in there.

dOddOd Both nifty ideas for the hard to get to plugs. I don't have a variable but the 919 is a PITB to get out, steel lift lines are real close, will have to give that a try:D. Greg

Other thing I thought would help, but couldn't find mine, are the little magnets made to insert in a socket, that way the plug would stay in the extension.

great tip, another thing that i do is my 8 point sockets, they are designed for that purpose and work wonders. i have done it the way you do several times, generally when i forget to use my 8 points or don't have them with me.
