725 tiller help

MPH

Recommended Posts

I've read some of you are already out tilling, I'm green with envie but thankful my model W parts melted out of the snow. drove my 725 back there and bolted on the hitch fine, think i firgured out after I got back to the house the tension lever must need to be hooked to the lift arm first then slid into the tractor rear lift????I don't have anything that looks like the adj screw end hardware. tiller pulley line up with the big pulley on the rear pto, as does the bevel gear box pulley, not a workable lookin deal to me. Does the power pulley go to the large or small one on the rear pto? Any info would be helpful, glad as I am I got service manuals with both my tractors, they never show the implement mounted or complete. this size tractor is a mite different than mounting a #24 corn picker on a farmal H, 30 plus years ago...thanks in advance MPH......

thankyou Ken Williams for belt length info 0n a 700. now I know which belt is to run where, which brings to ? the length of the hollow shaft that the tension lever pivots on, from the plate to the pulley., my tiller being for a modle W I'm thinkin many thats longer. mph
