101 Rear end problems

Hey Guys My 1966 Landlord 101 is having rear end problems or BGB problems. I wont clime a hill in 3rd or 2nd It will in 1st. And when I hit the brakes It Makes a bad rattle nose. If I cant find out the problem. Ill make a Video of it and put it on youtube. Thanks

Unmount your transmission belt and run the engine. If it rattles there, youre looking at a BGB issue, particularly on shutdown. If not, trans. Hopefully if it is trans, you may be lucky enough to have a key that needs to be replaced.

I have had that problem when the nylon parts in the drive pully are completely worn. Makes a terrible noise and a well used belt will slip.
