Roller Retainer Simp # 153124

I'm replacing all my deck rollers and I'm having one heck of a time trying to find the right retaining clips. They are Simplicity 153123, what have you all done. Can I just use replcement "C" clips on the right diameter? I've seen people drill out and use cotter pins as well. Thanks Again!

What kind of tractor/deck do you have? I'm not familiar with retaining clips on roller bar. All the decks I've seen have a hole through the end and a cotter-pin is used with a washer to keep the rollers on. Some folks have used retaining collars (same as used to keep front wheels on spindles - a "donut" with set screw) instead of cotter-pins.

The deck is a simplicity model 1691419 011658. The retainer clips look similar to today's C clips that fit into the slot at the end of the roller support assembly. One for each of the 4 small rollers.
