Blade Replacement 36" Deck

I've just ordered Hi-Lift blades for my 4212 bagger. Do they install in any special way, i.e. one horizontal one vertical or do you just put them on? I noticed there are no pins on the blade adapter, the adapters are smooth, is this correct as well. This is my first rider, and I just want to be sure I'm doing everything correctly. Thanks!

the lift on the blades should point up into the mower when properly installed.
