Price for a B-10

A friend of mine has a B-10 for sell. It has a new seat and said the deck is in excellent shape. The rest of the tractor is in fair shape, but the motor needs rebuilt. I believe it is an early b-10. He wants $300 for it. Do you guys think that is reasonable or to high?

I don't think that is to bad thats what I see them go for in my area.

Any attachments come with it?? Does the engine run at all??? You mention a rebuild in it's future. A year ago in my area, a Big-10 with mower deck that ran smoke free sold for $325. I found a picture.

Just the tractor and deck. Engine does not run and will need overhauled.

I just paid 100 for a running B-10 with no attatchments or mid pto. Going to use it for a loader or spare snow plow tractor. Good deal to me.

300 seams a little high to me i bought this for 300 had to repaint but the engine is the same except for the coil
