sammiefish 2 Posted October 22, 2010 filter clogged??? seems unlikely but... when you say locks up... do you mean skid to stop?

UCD 14 Posted October 23, 2010 If you have items for sale put them in the classifieds or pm the person your self. Talking tractors and show and tell are not parts stores.
Burntime 1 Posted October 23, 2010 Thats what I love about this forum. People are willing to help! I would not have been able to unlock the rear end on the 6 speed without all the info people volunteered!
MikeES 417 Posted October 23, 2010 yukon, if you push in the freewheel/transport valves will it roll? This is a 'L' shaped plate under the seat that pushed down on a couple of nipples sticking out from the top of the transaxle on the left side. This releases the fluid check valves. With these nipples depressed you should be able to push the tractor (though not easy) to move it. If not then you have something come loose/broke in the transaxle. The gearbox on the "right", I assume is the differential on the right side axle...and no this cannot lock up the tractor from moving.
