Brent_Baumer 5 Posted June 6, 2001 Saw an ad for a local auction today that listed a "7' Lilleston 3 bladed pull type mower". Does anyone know if this is a trail mower (with engine), 3 gang reel mower, or PTO driven mower for the big tractors? Did a search on Yah** and didn't come up with much. Hoping it's a trail mower I could use to cut the back 40 with (where the Simplicity cut and striping effect is unimportant). Any clues would be appreciated. Les 4 Posted June 6, 2001 Lilleston is, or was, a Texas farm equipment manufacturer, made a lousy cultivator that my Dad made me cultivate corn and beans with for 2 summers! Wasnt even my Dads' tractor or cultivator, it was his freinds'. I believe that the cultivator was so bad the guy that owned it wouldnt even use it, so they made the poor neighbor kid run it. Anyway, Lilliston also made flail type field crop shredders and mowers. These were heavy duty tractor mount, 540 PTO units. So it would follow that they probably made a "Bush-Hog" type farm tractor mower.
