Trac-Vac Troubles...................

Got my Trac-Vac out today and thought i would start the leaf vaacuuming but am having some engine trouble. It has the 5 HP Briggs Model 130232 with the Pulsa-Jet style carburetor. It was running erratic like there was dirt in the carb so I removed tank and carb. I cleaned the tank/ removed jet and cleaned/ cleaned and blew out a;ll the passages and pick up tubes. Then reassembled. It starts and runs like it had a float-- wanting to flood out then run lean. After it is running I start to unscrew the gas cap and then the engine quits. I done that several times. Any ideas or suggestions??? Thanks.

Did you replace diaphragm gasket? Most carb problems are a result of that.
