I look at Craigslist as much to see what people think stuff is worth (and a good laugh) as I do to find stuff to buy.

Kind of a neat looking tractor though. You never know what someone might pay for an item if they have to have it. It never hurts to look for the guy with way too much money to spend.:D

I would rather pay that price for that tractor than the asking prices I've seen for a lot of the anniversary Simplicities!!

As garden tractor collecting becomes more popular the rare and unusal units will start to bring higher prices to the amazement of those that have been in the hobby for quite awhile and are used to cheap.The same thing happened in antique tractor collecting back in the 70's when I first started collecting, old tractors of all sorts were considered next to junk and could be bought cheap much like garden tractors have been.But then in the 80's collecting took off somewhat prices rose some but in the 90's up to today they have skyrocketed from previous prices.Example I bought a 1938 Allis Chalmers A in 1984 for $2500 and was roundly laughed at for spending so much on a 'piece of junk' these days A's bring from $10,000 to $25,000.
