Another BGB Question

I'm looking at a AC B-10 as a parts tractor. The BGB on my Big Ten has some slop in it and the one I'm looking at seems nice and tight. My question is are they the same units and could it also be used on my B212 with the vary shift set up? Thanks

well i do know the vari drive is a different box du to the cross shaft being longer
