Hydro problem

I have a Simplicity 3310H with 42" mower deck.
Last summer I was mowing and everything was
going fine. Went to the shed in the back yard to get
our trailer. Shut the tractor off, went and got the trailer and hooked it up, got back on the tractor,
started it up, moved the shift lever forward, nothing
happened.

If you normally declutch before starting it also could be that the trans belt idler pivot is sticking and needs to be taken apart, cleaned and lubed. This can easily be checked by seeing if the belt is tensioned and if the idler can be manually be moved to put more tension on the belt. The trans will begin to work immediately if this is all it is. FOR SAFETY DO NOT TRY TO TENSION THE BELT WITH THE TRACTOR RUNNING.
