Remote hydraulics?

Anyone out there tried putting remote hydraulics on a Sovereign/900 series tractor? What kind of success did you have? I've been thinking of trying it, but want some suggestions as to if it's even feasable. Thougt to tap into the same line as the hydraulics are now on...with some sort of flow diverter in line so I don't use too much pressure. I'm thinking that if you can run power steering off of the pump (which I don't have), why not another set of hydraulics? Thanks all. GordU

Issues would be the amount of fluid the system has (does it have enough for another hydraulic cylinder or two?) and how much volume does it pump. On my 716H, plans are afoot to rig up a hydraulic pump/tank setup that fits in the rear hitch and runs off the same belt drive as the rear tiller.[A href='http://www.wheatfarm.com']http://www.wheatfarm.com[/a]

Those hydros won't have enough capacity or flow rate to do much other than run the small 8 inch cyl for the hydro lift AND run the trac at the same time....An external pump/valve would be much better.IMO.
