smokin sovereign

Recommended Posts

Mowing the acreage this weekend and noticed a slight smoking coming from the exhaust on the sovereign 18 hydro (Kohler Command) when under the heaviest load ( going from forward to reverse and vice versa) what should I be concerned about on this one. I changed the oil less than 20 hours ago and also removed the cooling fins and cleaned them out . It doen not seem to do this at slower speeds.

Is the smoke blue (oil) or black (fuel)..? Are you using the proper oil (see link)..?[A href='http://www.simpletractors.com/service/motor_oil.htm']http://www.simpletractors.com/service/motor_oil.htm[/a]
