Sign In or Password Problems?   10/09/2016

If you can't Sign In, you need to reset your password.  Use the Forgot Your Password link at the bottom of the Sign In screen, and the site will send you an email to reset it. If you have an AOL email account, use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the screen -- AOL is intermittently blocking email from the site.

If you have a multimeter you can check you steady state voltage, start voltage and charge voltage all at the same sequence. If it is 12.5V steady state and drops down to 8V approx and then back up to 13.5 or more with engine running, your charge system is OK. But if your voltage doesn't improve beyond 12V after starting, you need to chase things down.

Just remember if you decide to adjust the regulator(which is not hard with a meter) DISCONNECT the battery before taking the cover off. There are some terminals which when touched will short to ground with sparks and fry your fuses. Don't ask me how I know...:p Once the cover is off reconnect them. Same for the closing procedure. According to my electrical father, 13.4 to 13.8 v is the average charge. 14 or more is faster charge but can make it harder on the battery.
