Is there a simple way to get a four inch cut height on the 60 inch PowerMax/AC 620 mower decks? Highest I can get is about three inches.

Simple No, For me this is my second deck I have added to the hight. So it was easer this time.

I now can get over 4" in hight. Plastic Sleeved roller, new steel roller shaft. All helped but the 1" i welded in made the big difference.

Dan, Did you need to do anything with the front hookup of the deck? Or was there enough travel for everything to stay level at a 4 inch lift? Steve

I only added 1" to the back. Now it is possible to go 4" blade cutting hight. I have not yet got this deck on the ground yet. I have removed and freed up the deck adjusters. Just a few turns on the adjusters move the front up quit a bit. I am quit sure that there is enough threads to adjust the deck to it proper tilt when on the tractor. At least on the B110 I did some years ago it worked out fine. On the B110 the deck was close to the bottom of the tractor. But the Power Max has a lot more ground clearance so I know it will still be able to raise up fine. The forward and aft adjustment is in the 2 bars going from the fount of the deck to the back and will need to be adjusted. The cutting hight adjuster (on the back) will now have the 1" added to them and is still functional.

Good job Dan, I want to mow the trails higher and think this will do the trick. Thought about some new rollers this yr but think I'll start gathering some parts to do that sleeve job. Thanks:)

dhardin, have you tried out your modified deck yet? Just wondering if there was enough adjustment in the front to level it out at 4 inches.

I hope to have some family over tomorrow to set the deck back on the ground and will give a first true mow sense I got the 4041. I am afraid the small Crane on my trailer will scratch my new paint job.
