price on a chipper attachment

I'm going to check out a mucher/chipper attachment for a 400 series tractor tomorrow. This goody appears to want to fit on the rear 1 point hitch. I saw it once before in the back of this guys barn and it looked really clean with GREEN paint and an AC decal . What should I offer him for it? I was thinking $50 - $75.

I too have not seen an AC-branded chipper-shredder, but MacKissic (I think it was, I may have them confused) used to make an aftermarket, belt-driven one that mounted to rear hitches. I researched this about 3 months ago, but can't remember for sure. Now they (whoever it was) -- offer nothing but stand-alone or Category "0" 3-point hitch models....

I would also think that this thing, obviously pretty rare (especially with AC markings) could easily be worth $200 or more if complete and in good working condition.... I'll bet it would easily bring that in the classified ads....

MacKissic did indeed at one time produce the chipper/shredder. I called Simplicity last spring, and they gave me the MacKissic lead. I called Mackissic and they no longer produce it, and have no idea where one might be found. The guy there was real nice. If I recall correctly they are in east PA.
I was looking for one for my 7119. I finally bought
a Home Depot 8HP stand alone for a deep discount, and
plan to unload it when I'm thru.
