xenon172 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I am working on a cub with a 27hp Courage engine. Changed the oil and refilled to the proper level but the oil warning light won't go off. These engines are rather new to me so any ideas on what the problem might be or if there is a way to reset the system would be appreciated
comet66 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I'd put a pressure gauge on it before I ran it too much. It's entirely possible the pump has failed. Or, if you don't have a gauge. Try pulling the sending unit and start it up to see if it's even getting oil to the unit. if it is change the sending unit.
