sammiefish Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Hi Jim, While I imagine its much less convenient... there is a company in Syracuse that supposedly would take walk ins as well... but as above, that may no longer be the case. Anoplate Corp. Pulaski Street Syracuse NY Also, last I knew they had a truck going to and from Rochester every day to pickup and drop off parts.

RUMBLEFISH Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 One of my customers is a plating company. They do all kinds of stuff and yes even walk in. They wanted $150 for the frong mesh grill on my big ten so I just had them stip it for $40 cash. A bit rich for my blood. I could have just charged them more for my service but thats not fair. Not to mention these little plate shops are coming down on some real hard times. Between china and our great EPA regs its just a matter of time they will all be gone.
