I'm trying to set the timing on my 616 and I'm not having any luck. It started running ruff and after some investigating I found the points to be loose. I cleaned those up and regapped them, but that didn't help. I thing decided to try to set the timing. I thought I could get it running and slide the points box until I got it to run smooth. First thing I found was the points box was loose also.Anyway, I loosened the box, but it only moves about an 1/8 of an inch, total movement back and forth. I also realized I was losing the ground for the points when I loosened the box. I was going to try and put a timing light on it, but I can't tell which blade on the flywheel to use. I know someone here has done this before. I was working with JP on this a little. I hate to keep picking on him.:D:D Any help would be greatly appreciated Norm
