It started out as a 12HP CI from a 3112, but it was short blocked a few years ago and then the tractor went bye-bye. I was told it lost compression. The valve faces pounded their way into the seats negating any stem clearance. The valves faces were salvageable and after lapping the black in, after they were refaced, and stem clearance was adjusted, I got nice pencil thin lap marks. Curiosity made me check the bore. It is 3-5/8". Yippee an undercover 16 HP.

Same cheap to fix problem that made my 64 LL able to be bought. I love those kind of worn out engines.

Looks like you got to much stuff in the garage.What are you going to do with all the 16's you have?

He is hording them and when the market bottoms out on 12's he will make a fortune with all the 16's he has:D Nice score Bob, you seem to make a silk purse out of a sows ear time and time again!dOd
