my buddy traded a old snowmobile for this wards a few years ago. i have been after him to sell it too me ever since. well he called this week and said he is tierd of haveing to allways tinker with this tractor and for me to come get it :O. ya thats right, free come get it :drl. he just put a carb rebuild kit in it, new PTO belt , and sharpen blades. he thinks its the coil acting up. will be getting a original winter muffler shield kit also. he also has a orange snowblower but i told him to keep it and sell it for some $$$. but i did get my black snow plow and my round plastic tank back i gave him awhile agosm01. i sure cant complain about this deal. this old squire 9 is in pretty darn nice shape. here are the pics after i cleaned it up some . Even has the right lights, gotta love it!! I think I would have held out for a battery though. But then the hubcaps are worth every cent you paid!

NOW you have something I'm willing to drive across the state for...I've been looking hard for one lately, with limited success. I found two on the west side, and jfrank had one near Toledo, but timing and stiff just hasn't been working out. You let me know if she comes up for sale...I've been tempted on one or two of your 101's, but have been holding out for Gold!;)

I've seen both a gold dozer (42") and a blower. In fact, I saw them recently with a for sale Squire 9. I'll have to do some digging to see if I can come up with a link. They were rough, and didn't appear to be re-painted, but you never know till you see it up close. The guy had a gold deck with chute, too. Onld gold deck chute I've seen. Did the gold squires always have black dash's? I recently saw one with a gold dash and it looked goofy to me...repainted?
