bowhunt4life Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Saturday my wife had 10 tons of sand delivered for her horse riding area. They guy brought a dual axle dump truck and dumped it in the arena. He asked me how I was going to spread it? I pointed to the B-10 and he said the sand would be "to much for that old girl" and that I should get a skid loader. Ha! I took his comments as a challenge. I put the B10 in Lo gear, set the feet high on the push blade and off I went. 45 minutes later I had all the sand spread and the wife was impressed. I pointed to her four legged friend and declared that "June Bug" is a horse and pointed at my B10 and declared her a "Work Horse"! I am constantly amazed at how these little tractors can do so much.
bowhunt4life Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 Yeah I thought about that. Didn't take any action pics the wife was busy scooping up horse poop so I didn't want to stop her.
perry Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 one reason why i went with SIM/AC over wheel horse for my workers. i love my hores's but for heavy duty workers you cant beat a good'ol A/C ;). be careful these tractors don't have a conscience, they will climb a snow bank or wood pile before ya know it :D.
dave7016 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 last year we had a 2nd garage put up and after we were done I had to fill in a lot with a few yards of dirt. The guy who did the concrete stopped over a week later to estimate our drive and looked at the dirt and asked who did it. I pointed to my sovereign with the plow blade. he couldn't beleive it so I fired it up and started to push some dirt around.....also it only took an hour or so to complete the job.
YellowB10 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 i shoulda lent you my trip blade...the sand wouldve removed the surface rust!
