blackfarms1 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 7018 in original condition 48" deck, soft cab, weights, blade, blower. 4 out of 5 stars condition wise. what is avg price for package? thanks
larry8200 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Assumeing it's a 7018H, in New Hamphire might sell for $600-$800. I personally might pay $500
Burntime Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Then there are the attachments. By me that is a 800-1200 dollar tractor, especially if it has electric lift. Then add the attachments... Prob 750-900 in attachments. Cab is 300, blower is 250-300, blade depending on which one is 125-250, metal wheel weights are 100-125...
larry8200 Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 quote:Originally posted by Burntime Cab is 300, LOL $300 for a 33 year old soft cab? I got two real nice ones, one with a hard top , sell the pair for $500. (at a NICE profit) :D
GregB Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 IF it is truly a 7018, it started life with a 18hp Single Kohler. They made lots of power, but they had oil leak problems, which caused debris to stick on the cooling fins. Then they would overheat and loose valve seats and valve guides.. If it was well maintained, could be OK. Pullers love them, some parts are NLA or very pricey. I have a 718H that is next on the project list for Briggs swap, and hydro lift conversion, duals. IT had the overheat problem and smoked pretty bad when I got it. That being said, the prices mentioned above are resonable value, cheaper is always better :D
Burntime Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 You can laugh but I just sold mine for 300 in good shape 4 days ago. The alternative is something like 799 and you have to modify it. They are also not the same quality...

I'm not in Wisconson, and neither is the member inquiring, have to be a nice cab to bring $100 here.
Burntime Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Larry, I will take 10, litterally if you can find em and ship em reasonable send them up! It does not matter where you are. If its a 800 new item you can do better then 100 bucks...
